I have just spent the most wonderful week with my sister and her family - they flew in from Goderich, Ontario to spend Christmas and my daughter’s birthday with us. As promised, here are just a few of the things I have learned today!
1. It doesn’t matter how cold it is if you are dressed properly.
2. Nothing’s yummier than birthday cupcakes decorated by 5 year olds.
3. The kid’s table is the best seat in the house.
4. Mothers will do to their kids what their Mothers did to them (Matching outfits are cute after all!)
5. Not everyone appreciates a raucous party.
6. A parent will face the most daunting of challenges just to see their child smile.
Kitchen Before Kitchen After
7. And Finally…Time flies by far too quickly.

January 9th, 2009 at 10:59 amWell first of all I would like to say way to go Sandwiths….I am so looking forward to watching the next few weeks on BT as was the case when you were carrying Chloe, as the weeks go on you will get more & more beautiful as is the case with all pregnant ladies. I am so jealous as you are experiencing the most amazing thing that the lord ever created and that is the ability to create another human being inside you, as the father of two boys and was lucky enough to witness the birth of the oldest one. The biggest thought I was thinking was wow that is so special and I was so envious because as a man I will never know that feeling and that is why I hold women in the highest esteem. I wish you and your husband all the best in the world and may you have an easy pregnancy and delivery. as long as the child is healthy and arrives with all the love awaiting them the world will be a better place as by listening to your morals and beliefs you let be known an BT each & every day then your two children will grow to be amazing people. In this world we need to get a license to drive a car ,catch a fish, and all other material things however any human being can have a child, however very few are good parents. I am sure the additions you bring into this world will add something of great significance. Well enough of my babbling, I will leave you with this. Enjoy the time when your child is young enough to need you cause before you know it they will think you are the dumbest uncool est person ever and it won’t be till they are in there mid 20s that they will realize you may have known what you were talkin about. Be well and I enjoy your face and presance each and every day you are on the air.
