Trumped!

I'm...hired?

I'm...hired?

Maybe there’s a reason why Trevor Gretzky never pursued a professional hockey career. What a daunting task, to try to fill the shoes of a father who’s achieved such greatness he’s known around the world as the face of success in any given field.

I was very much looking forward to Donald Trump, Jr.’s visit to Breakfast Television for many different reasons. I wanted to ask what drives him to continue in The Donald’s footsteps, if it’s true he flies coach when he travels, what his first impressions of Edmonton are (as a developer) and what he makes of controversy surrounding his recent public statements professing an affinity for hunting exotic game.

Most notably, though, I was curious to see what Donald Trump, Jr. is like when the cameras are turned off. How would he treat our staff? How would he carry himself in the green room? And, of course, how long would it take him to style the second generation of America’s Most Scrutinized Hairstyle?

I can tell you “Donny” is a total gentlemen who comes across as humble, accommodating and gracious. He was happy to pose for photos with several fans of his family’s empire and as well-spoken as you might expect from a 34-year-old Vice President of a multi-billion dollar corporation.
