If Kalan learned one thing growing up (besides how to be smug, condescending and dismissive), you’d think it would have been to respect women – single moms in particular. After all, he was raised by one. But the “luxury brand consultant” (what exactly is that, anyway?) finally got clipped by Emily Maynard on Monday night’s episode of The Bachelorette (9pm, OMNI) after referring to her dear daughter as “baggage” and refusing to recant his statement. Loyal fans of the reality series couldn’t have been surprised, having witnessed several instances of Kalan’s arrogance on display through the first few weeks of the current season.

If you ask me, Kalan was the last of the real duds to stick around. I was sure with him hitting the road, Emily’s choices on who to send home each week are about to get a whole lot tougher.
