Wowza!

Wowza!

It doesn’t matter how many times I see a picture of the Northern Lights, or even when I am lucky enough to see them myself – I feel honoured, and feel like I’m seeing something mystical.    Zoltan left the lights and sights of the city and came back with phenomenal images of the Auroras around February 15th.    In his own words:  ”You can never capture the same moment in time twice.    The moment comes, and then it’s gone forever, unless you capture it in a photograph!”    If you want to see more of Zoltan’s photographs – check out his website:   www.infocusimagery.com.    You’ll see why last summer, one of his pics was NASA’s Astronomy photograph of the day.

Atmospheric amazement

DID YOU KNOW?    Our pretty little planet Earth has a magnetic field around it.   The magnetism attracts magnetized objects.    When solar winds bombard the Earth with ions, these charged particles move toward the magnetic poles.    When these particles strike our atmosphere, they erupt in spectacular displays of light, the auroras!    Who knew such beauty could come from gas??

IT’S A GAS HAVING YOUR PHOTO ON TV AND ON THIS VERY BLOG.    ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS HEAD BACK TO OUR MAIN WEBPAGE – FIND “CONNECT WITH BT”  AND THEN “SEND US YOUR PHOTOS”.    UPLOAD TODAY – SEE IT ON BT TOMORROW~!
