Little carbon copies of mom and dad!
This is a first for me! Thanks to Diana who camera captures the age and stage of what geese look like after their fuzzy phase. Read below for more on the transformation. But back to Diana and her kodak moment: “I saw this goose family at Rundle Park in early June. They were swimming across the pond to meet up with the 4 other geese families. It was wonderful to see them all get along!”
DID YOU KNOW? We’ve seen the adorable fuzzy goslings that by the way, are able to swim pretty much out of their shell. By the time they are 9 to 10 weeks old, they start to get their flight feathers and start to look like mom and dad. Their signature chin strap is just becoming visible. I count 5 in that family, so we can officially call them a gaggle.
