Mighty Slave Lake
Shawn captured this beautiful moment on the banks of the mighty and frozen Slave Lake.
Slave Lake is 107km long, but varies in width. It is 16km wide in some places.
I am proud to say I have pulled a few feisty and tasty fish from the waters of this lovely lake. And birds! SO many to see. There is a bird observatory on the eastern shore of the lake. Here is the observatory’s website http://www.lslbo.org/.
