Wee wise one

This owlet – a young Great Horned Owl has just learned to fly … and is just coming into its primary feathers. At about 6 weeks, mom coaxes the wee ones out of the nest for the first time, and 4 weeks later: the first flight. The first flight is usually to the ground.
