Wild about Mushrooms
Marvelous mushrooms courtesy of LaVerne who was respecting the flora, fauna, and fungi! She writes: “During a walk at Lake Isle we saw many different types and colors of mushrooms. Don’t what kind they are, but they sure are interesting”. Agreed La Verne, agreed.

DID YOU KNOW? A mushroom is the body of a fungus. In fact it is the spore-bearing fruiting body of a fungus, typically produced above ground on soil, or on its food source. Like all fungi, mushrooms are not plants.
MANY MUSHROOMS ARE TOXIC – DON’T GET SICK BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU PICK.
I found a few websites that have information about EDIBLE and TOXIC mushrooms.
