Grande and Gorgeous!

Grande and Gorgeous!

Dylan!   You have just helped our family come to a decision.    We are definately making a trip to Grande Cache this summer.   This is Grande Cache Lake, south of town, and the Wow factor is pretty high.   Grande Cache is on the northern border of the rockies, and is the gateway to Wilmore Wilderness Park.

DID YOU KNOW?   Grande Cache is a relatively young town.   It was founded in 1969 to develop the coal mines.   Today it succeeds thanks to wilderness tourism.   For those who see themselves as rugged and brave:  why not check out the Canadian Death Race.   Held every August long weekend, it tests your abilities (mental & physical).    125kilometres in 24hours !

Here’s something you can do, and it’s wayyyy easier than the death race.   Challenge yourself  “behind the lens” and send it in to us at Breakfast Television.   You will be in the spotlight on our show( a whole minute about you & your amazing talent),….and be featured right here on my blog!
