Mexican magnificance!

Mexican magnificance!

In Spanish you would say:  “Qué puesta del sol tan hermosa!”.    Translation:  ”What a beautiful sunset!”.    Karrie shares her experience:  “We visited Jan.28 – Feb.4.   I’ve travelled quite a bit and have to say Mazatlan has the best sunsets.   Loved it!   It is a great destination full of history, beauty and very friendly locals.   The city has a revitalized Centro Historico and an 11 km Malecón (waterfront street – the heart and life of Mazatlan), among many other jewels.   We stayed at the 4-star El Cid Castilla Beach resort and could not have been treated better”.

DID YOU KNOW?    Mazatlán has more than 20 miles of beaches that are lined with resorts, hotels, restaurants, bars, and shops - so you will probably guess that tourism is one of Mazatlan’s main industries.    Fishing is the other – the city has the second largest fishing fleet in Mexico with hauls of shrimp and tuna.    Mazatlán means “place of the deer” in Nahuatl.    Nahuatl is an Aztec language spoken by about 1 million people in Mexico.    If you want to see the sights for yourself – book your vacation here:
