It’s a little late, but Kanye West tweeted an apology to Taylor Swift for their infamous MTV encounter last year.
The tweet of “I’m sorry Taylor” came this weekend after West spent hours on Twitter expressing his hope to do good for the world, and his love of pop culture and the arts — not to mention country music.
On top of the apology he quote “wrote a song for Taylor Swift that’s so beautiful and I want her to have it. If she won’t take it then I’ll perform it for her.”
He’ll perform at this Sunday’s MTV VMA’s. An impromptu song for Taylor maybe? Really?

Another “American Idol” judge has officially left the stage.
Kara DioGuardi just confirmed she’s splitting from the show.
In a joint statement released by her and Fox, she said “This is the best time to leave ‘Idol’” and called her time there an amazing experience.
After a summer of speculation about the judges, this news leaves Randy Jackson as the surviving judge.
