Bridget Ryan was the first on the BT team to spot it.  She thought it was odd that a neighbourhood garage was transformed into a polling station.  She snapped this picture.

Advanced poll

Elections Canada officials thought they were setting up shop in the Glenora Community hall Monday morning.  That changed when an odd odour was detected.  Good for them for finding somewhere else to set up shop.  Employees started knocking on doors at around 9 to find an alternate location.  The polls opened at 12.  I’m sure there have been weirder places around the world people have voted.

At first blush, it looks bush league…a bit pathetic. But good for officials who wouldn’t let democracy be derailed.
